Leave the crowds behind and explore the wild side of Shark Bay on a full-day marine adventure through one of Australia’s most spectacular World Heritage environments.
Departing from Denham, travel across the crystal-clear waters of Shark Bay Marine Park towards some of the region’s most iconic and remote locations, including Steep Point — the westernmost point of mainland Australia — the dramatic Zuytdorp Cliffs, and the pristine coastline of Dirk Hartog Island.
Along the way, experience Shark Bay from above and below the surface. Snorkel untouched reefs in the South Passage and along Dirk Hartog Island’s coastline, discovering vibrant marine life and unique underwater ecosystems rarely seen by visitors.
Keep watch throughout the day for Shark Bay’s incredible wildlife, including dolphins, dugongs, turtles, rays and sharks. Between July and November, you may also witness the annual humpback whale migration as these ocean giants travel along Western Australia’s coastline.

Flexible Adventure Schedule
Our Full Day Marine Safaris do not operate on a fixed timetable. Conditions in Shark Bay can change, so the order of activities is adjusted to ensure comfort, safety and the best possible experience on the water.
Throughout the day you will enjoy:
- A visit to Steep Point, the westernmost point of mainland Australia
- A beach walk and island exploration on Dirk Hartog Island
- A minimum of two guided snorkels led by PADI professionals at remote, pristine reef sites
As we travel between locations, we maintain a constant lookout for marine life including dolphins, dugongs, turtles, rays, sharks and (seasonally) whales.
3:00–3:30pm – Return to Denham
Arrive back at the foreshore with unforgettable memories of your Shark Bay Marine Safari.

Our fleet of vessels and 4×4 vehicles is carefully selected for safety, comfort, and access to Shark Bay’s most iconic locations. Boats feature spacious decks, shaded areas, and easy water access for snorkelling, while our 4x4s are equipped for off-road exploration and wildlife spotting. Combined with our expert crew, every tour is designed to be smooth, safe, and unforgettable.
Terms & Conditions
All Shark Bay Eco Tours are subject to favourable weather conditions and minimum participant requirements. If a tour is deemed unsafe due to weather or minimum numbers are not met, we will contact you:
For tours departing in the morning: the day before the tour, by 5:00 pm at the latest.
For tours starting later in the day: approximately 4 hours before departure.
Where possible, we will arrange an alternative date. If no suitable alternative can be provided, you are entitled to a full refund.
The selection of diving and snorkelling locations is determined by our experienced skippers and PADI Professionalguides, taking into account weather conditions and the abilities of participants. Routes and itineraries may be altered at the discretion of the crew to ensure safety and comfort.
Wildlife Sightings
While our tours focus on encountering the incredible marine and terrestrial wildlife of Shark Bay, sightings of specific animals such as humpback whales, dugongs, or other species cannot be guaranteed. Nature is unpredictable, but our crew will make every effort to provide an exceptional and memorable experience for all participants.
Refunds and Waivers
We do not offer refunds if wildlife is not sighted.
Refunds are only provided if Shark Bay Eco Tours cancels a tour due to unsafe weather or not meeting minimum numbers.
All guests must complete a waiver prior to departure. Failure to do so may result in refusal to participate, without refund.
