SNORKEL THE STROMATOLITES PRIVATE TOUR

Snorkel with the ancient Shark Bay stromatolites on a private half-day tour, combining calm-water snorkelling with fascinating local interpretation in the World Heritage Area.

ABOUT THE TOUR

Our most exclusive experience is a Stromatolite snorkel tour in Shark Bay, taking you to the ancient living formations of Hamelin Pool in the Shark Bay World Heritage Area. Step back in time and swim alongside the oldest living organisms on Earth—with one of the only operators in Australia currently licensed to conduct snorkelling tours with the stromatolites.

This tour also includes a unique 4WD adventure to some of Shark Bay’s most iconic locations, plus a few secret spots you won’t find on your own. Yes—you can visit the Hamelin Pool stromatolite boardwalk independently, but we access restricted stromatolite sites closed to the general public, where clear water often reveals an abundance of marine life. Keep an eye out for sea snakes, stingrays, and even dolphins as you snorkel in one of the most remarkable environments in Western Australia—an experience that belongs on any Shark Bay bucket list.
