Shark bay eco tours refund & cancellation policy
Pricing Changes for 2025 Season – Due to changing cost prices we have to revise our tour prices every year, if booking for 2025 please be advised prices may be slightly different, revised pricing is already available when using the booking portal.
Refund Policy for Shark Bay Eco Tours – 4WD and Dive Tours
Cancellation Policy:
1. For cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the tour date, Shark Bay Eco Tours will provide customers with a full refund, minus a 10% booking fee.
2. Cancellations made more than 8 days but less than 30 days in advance will receive a 50% refund.
3. No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 8 days prior to the tour date.
4. Failure to attend on the agreed date, time, and place may result in no refund.
5. Shark Bay Eco Tours reserves the right to alter routes, vehicles, vessels, and tour times when necessary.
Dive Tour Conditions:
1. All divers, whether certified or uncertified, must complete and sign a ‘Liability Release and Assumption of Risk’ Agreement, as well as a Standard Safe Diving Practices Statement of Understanding. Failure to complete these forms will prohibit participation in any diving activities.
2. Certified divers must present their certification card before the tour commences. Failure to do so will result in the inability to participate in diving activities. Lost certification cards should be reported prior to booking.
3. If it has been over 12 months since the last dive, Shark Bay Eco Tours may require participants to complete a SCUBA Review before the day trip.
Other Tour Terms and Conditions:
1. Minimum numbers are required for all 4WD and marine tours. Failure to meet these minimum numbers will result in a full refund or the option to rebook for a different date.
2. All tours are subject to weather conditions. Shark Bay Eco Tours may cancel tours due to safety concerns or unsuitable weather conditions. In such cases, customers will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Dive Course Terms and Conditions:
1. Refunds for dive courses follow the standard refund policy, minus consumable costs provided before the course commencement.
2. Consumable costs for dive courses are as follows:
– Open Water: $200
– Advanced Open Water: $150
– Rescue Diver: $150
3. PADI course students must complete a RSTC Medical Statement before booking. Any student answering YES to any medical conditions on the RSTC Medical Statement must obtain an Australian Standard AS4005.1 Diving Medical before the course begins. No refunds will be provided for change of mind unless deemed medically unfit to dive by a diving doctor.
